Mr. Evans has worked in the Commercial Real Estate Development field since 1978. He co-founded Atlas Development Corporation in December, 1998. Prior to Atlas, Mr. Evans was Vice President and partner in Opus Building Corporation, a full service Real Estate Development company. Mr. Evans co-founded Opus after having worked at Trojan Development Corporation for 4 years.

Mr. Evans is a Director of Canada Lands Company, a Canadian Government Crown Corporation and Huntington Real Estate Investment Trust. Huntington is a publicly traded REIT on the TSE. Mr. Evans is a former Director of the Alberta Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation. CUDGC is the entity similar to Canada Deposit Corporation which oversees and guarantees the deposits within the Alberta Credit Union System.

Mr. Evans holds an Engineering degree from McGill University and an MBA from the Ivey Business School.
